European Migration Network Presidency Conference

On 5 and 6 October, an international conference of the European Migration Network on labour migration will take place in the context of the Czech EU Presidency.

The conference, entitled “The EU and labour migration: needs, strategies and challenges“, aims to provide participants with a unique opportunity to learn about proposals or initiatives currently being addressed by the EU and Member States in the field of labour migration. The four panels will discuss topics such as labour migration management, cooperation with third countries, the residence of third country workers in the host country and, last but not least, the impact of digitalisation and modern technologies. The conference programme will also reflect on the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on the labour market of EU Member States.
